What’s there:

This week we are liquidating the estate of a former antique store owner! There are lots of wonderful old nick-knacks and collectibles of various age and origin. Not everything is antique or vintage, but much of it is. I find it especially difficult to describe sales like this in text since the coolness factor has so much to do with the age and unique characteristics of each item. Therefore, if you don’t typically view the photos on our website, this is a great one to make an exception for. Also, I’m including additional information about some of the artists after the general listing of what we have, so scroll down for that, if you’re interested!

Original art & framed prints (see info about artists in next paragraph); antique tall case clock with bonnet top by Silas Hoadley of Plymouth, Connecticut; antique wall clocks and thermometer/barometers, mission-style farm tables and chairs, armoires, plants and pots/planters, propane grill, parson’s chairs, carved figures, candlesticks, oil lamps, mission-style coffee table, couch with white slip-cover; pottery, porcelain, & china of various origin; antique & vintage printed material, bar stools, dresser, wooden boxes, old lamps, antique balance scales, jewelry, various pieces of silver - including 2 pieces of Tiffany Silver, tintype & daguerreotype, depression glass, kitchenware, white everyday dishes, McClarty olive trays, small appliances, viewmaster and slides, baskets, bookcases, Epson printer, lateral file cabinet, antique apothecary jars, small collection of Hummels; small collection of dolls, doll beds & chairs, doll house furniture; books, blankets, throws, linens, small amount of clothing, needlepoint & crochet, king-size bed and matching night stands, antique tables - including child’s sewing table, leather bags, small amount of Christmas, first aid and toiletries, antique & vintage baby clothes - some with smocking, LG high-efficiency washer & dryer, garage stuff, plastic storage boxes, plastic utility shelving, cleaning supplies, blowers, yard tools, ladders and much more!

The following paintings are included in this week’s sale:

  • Early 20th century original painting, oil on canvas. Title of painting is “Grandma Bailey” by listed American artist, Content Johnson.
