Our estate sale is a brilliant example of color, the rooms bursting with orange, green, yellow, blue, turquoise, aqua, red, black, brown, and cream with gorgeous decor that brings a smile to your face and exhibits a happy aura when you walk in!! An array of different cultures and times for everyone as well....Asian to African, Mid-Century Modern to 90s to Present.....something for everyone's taste! The artwork is phenomenal and there are vast quantities of pillows of all shapes, sizes, colors, and such decorative and unusual ones!!
Let's get started with the highlights!!
As you enter, the lovely blue and green sitting room has a confederate blue-gray love seat and 2 arm chairs with a lovely floral design made by Sherrill Furniture; a white washed media cabinet which stands 82" tall plus a lovely stained glass hanging lamp....all creating such a peaceful setting.
Straight ahead is a lovely Mid-Century dining room china cabinet and dining room table with 2 Captain chairs & 4 side chairs from American of Martinsville - both with mirror and rattan accents; a white leather 3-piece sectional sofa accented with "zebra" pillows; 4 G. Armani figurines; Noritake Ivory China 37562 "Tulane", 8 vintage Gold Standard Dinner Plates, and a lovely white/beige wicker love seat to name just a few of the items to see!!
Down the hall are 2 bedrooms - one is pinks, blues, and greens, the other in reds, blacks, and oranges - outstanding! There are 2 sets of mattress - 2 twins and 1 double/full. No headboards but frames and box springs included. One bedroom has a lovely green wrought iron love seat with a pink cushion, a brown hexagonal wicker end table, and a lovely cream Bernhardt arm chair. Two stained glass wall hangings are in the window. In the side dressing room, there is a lovely hassock and the most beautiful vintage lime green woman’s coat with mink collar & cuffs….amazing step in the past! The other bedroom has pillows galore, two large floor lamps with brilliant light, 4 – “Moon” mirrors, and bright red & black vases. Truly a burst of color!
Next stop is the kitchen! Blue Fenton, 2 Painted Ponies, & a Florence figurine “Lady Jane” adorn a glass top sofa table. A T-200 series Hammond organ sits next to the table. Then there is the lovely orange, yellow and green kitchen!! Items to be found are Farberware cookware, Insico Stainless flatware, Vintage Washington Forge “Mardi Gras” Stainless flatware with pink handles, and a lovely round Mahogany 40” table with a pedestal base that raises and lowers ! Includes 4 leather barrel chairs….great for kitchen or game room!
The living room contains a lovely “celery” Omni loveseat and “Big” chair with an ottoman – so comfortable! A brown Emerson 86” leather sofa from Hickory, NC in wonderful condition! Amazing bird cages adorn the mantle and vintage bookcases line the wall with a wicker sofa table in between. A sitting area has a lovely smoky glass rattan table with 4 brown rattan barrel chairs.
The master bedroom has a red radiance! Along with the vintage queen bedroom set sits a large red wicker display cabinet and a black wrought iron & wicker loveseat. 2 large palm trees, artwork, and lovely area rugs are amazing! A Global Electric Guitar is waiting for just the right person!
Lovely Brown wicker sits on the patio – 1 rocker, 1 arm chair, an oval table and a love seat with green cushions. Small resin statues, tall green artificial trees, an outdoor glass table and chairs with a green umbrella are just a few things outdoors.
